THE SHORT VERSION

Seeking revenge for her ruined home, the Freeguild soldier Landi approaches a cavern containing a stitched rat-bear monstrosity. Hamilcar joins her with a confidence she initially mistakes for divine presence, then appears to be swallowed by the creature. Landi’s defiance helps distract it long enough for the Bear-Eater’s improbable escape, turning terror into a victory and a new trophy while exposing the Skaven’s experiments.
