A confined scholar explains the Mortal Realms’ magical structure before warning that the skaven have poisoned the nexuses that hold it together. The disaster in Aqshy is therefore more than an enormous invasion: weakened realmspheres permit Blight City to force its way into reality. His increasingly frantic testimony argues that other seemingly isolated infestations could precede further Vermindooms across the cosmos.
