Kasmoteph’s perspective reveals how he crippled the Mechanicus ship and borrowed an army without informing his overlord. His intended prize is a powerful human device, but its activation begins interacting with the temporal radiation left by his own weapon. Increasingly alarmed, the self-congratulatory Chronomancer hastens through the defenders while insisting that only he can be trusted with technology whose behaviour he no longer fully controls.
