THE SHORT VERSION

Sebastien adds four Maw-gruntas to a Shyish-themed collection, imagining orruks transformed into unexpected followers of Morrda by a stolen corvid relic. Their palette echoes his Lethis troops but varies the base colours, while the same all-over dark wash preserves the shared grimy finish. Skin, pig flesh, fur, leather and purple cloth recipes make the bulky reinforcements practical to paint.

Lugganath Craftworld by Harvey

Harvey emphasises Lugganath’s connections to Corsairs and Harlequins, combining orange Guardians with the yellow of the Sunblitz Brotherhood. A converted Visarch becomes their pirate-like leader through Autarch, Corsair and Incubi components. Insidious Infiltrators by Lyle

Lyle’s small Leviathan Combat Patrol provides a change from painting armoured warriors. A purple wash over white establishes the flesh, followed by pale drybrushing that returns after the carapaces and claws are painted. Reusing the same final drybrush across the organism ties the textures together and makes the elite force practical to complete during the Crusade campaign.
