INTERVIEW·WHITE DWARF 500

Character Enhancement

May 2024·pp. 114–117

THE SHORT VERSION

Digital artist Scott Sez explains how photographs and a storyboard became the report’s comic-style panels. Umber light makes the jungle feel apocalyptic, teal establishes the gun rig’s cold alien atmosphere, and saturated shipboard colour strengthens the horror of the boarding fight. His account also shows how understanding an in-game event, such as a closed door, can change the visual story completely.
