PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 499

Canoptek Doomstalker by Bethany

April 2024·p. 112

THE SHORT VERSION

Bethany’s Nihilakh machine combines cold black and turquoise with heavily oxidised copper. Sponging the original copper colour back over the oxide creates irregular patches rather than a uniform blue-green coat. Cracked earth over luminous colour extends the contrast onto the base, giving the walker a terrain setting that echoes its energy effects.
