Crusade Colours: Karkinos and the Pallid Hand

THE SHORT VERSION

Steve uses small lines and dots to build insect-like patterns across Hive Fleet Karkinos, allowing the marks to merge naturally on larger carapaces. Nick’s Pallid Hand pursues a quicker rotten-white finish, with dark green armour details and oxidised copper reinforcing the Death Guard’s decay. Their contrasting recipes demonstrate how a clear repeatable method supports the expanding demands of a campaign army.
