Tyranid Colour Schemes One and Two
March 2024·p. 27
THE SHORT VERSION
The first test pairs bright yellow carapace with pale pink-tinted flesh, producing an appealing skin tone that is too slow and insufficiently harmonious for Emily’s planned army. The second deliberately explores darker flesh and blue weapons. Although neither becomes the finished scheme, they establish useful colours and show why a test miniature need not be perfected to answer a practical painting question.
