Legacy of Defiance, Volume III

THE SHORT VERSION

Sergeant Makhot’s reconnaissance ends in a horrific death as Ushizar watches helplessly through his helm feed. Another phrase match leads the Librarian to Mardas’s restricted Deathwatch journal, recounting a disastrous attack on a Harlequin performance and a dying seer’s warning. Every linked account now belongs to someone Ushizar knew, raising the frightening possibility that the Word Bearers have come for him as their assault reaches the vault doors.
