THE SHORT VERSION

Sebastien Toursel begins his catch-up effort with Annihilators and characters painted in a single intensive weekend. Space Wolves details lend these Knights Excelsior a feral Ghurish character, while a concise white-armour recipe and luminous pink staff distinguish them from his earlier teal Fireborne Souls. Simple base, shade and highlight sequences make the ambitious timetable achievable.

Painting Hive Fleet Eumenides

Jes Goodwin’s Tyranid recipe layers green flesh, brown chitin and purple weapons without intervening Shade stages. The progression from dark foundations to clear edge highlights produces a bright, sharply defined organism, at the cost of more careful layering than a wash-led method. It answers a reader’s question about the Parasite of Mortrex shown in issue 478.
