Hold Out or Die

THE SHORT VERSION

The defender splits its army between the stronghold and an off-table relief force while three objectives are placed on terrain inside its territory. The relief column’s arrival becomes more likely as the five-round battle progresses, but its entry point remains uncertain. Victory depends on the final majority of objectives, forcing the garrison to preserve enough of its positions for reinforcement to matter.
