Hobby Hangout: Bringing the Slidecrown Isle to Life
January 2024·pp. 24–27
THE SHORT VERSION
Steve Barrett builds a modular jungle from Warcry scenery, spare ruins and plentiful bracken, using vivid foliage to contrast with dark stone and red gnarloaks. Contrast paints and drybrushing cover the awkward textures efficiently, while textured moss can conceal small mistakes. The same methods work on a full battlefield, miniature bases or blocked Underworlds hexes.
