Four Warlords: The Exudate Feast
January 2024·pp. 100–101
THE SHORT VERSION
Jake Bowley’s Maggotkin take their name from an appropriately unpleasant medical term and replace conventional Nurgle green with saturated purple flesh. Rusty bronze and rough dark-green cloth keep the bright bodies grounded in decay, while careful shading prevents the metal treatment from staining the skin. Jake also discusses finding a sustainable balance between painting to a useful standard and actually playing the finished army.
