THE SHORT VERSION
Admiral Imoda Barrasdottr and Brokk Grungsson help a Dawnbringer expedition drive skaven away from a promising settlement site in Gallet. Victory gives way to a much worse discovery: the geomantic veins themselves have been poisoned with warpstone and even the expedition’s dead are beginning to change. The duardin must abandon a costly triumph as they realise the ratmen were sacrificing troops to corrupt the land rather than simply defend it.
