THE SHORT VERSION
Matt Hutson paints Vashtorr with colours related to his Word Bearers, building warm flesh through drybrushed browns and flesh tones before a unifying glaze. Silver metalwork receives a conventional dark wash and bright drybrush, with selected gold and brass panels stained using transparent yellows and warm flesh colour.
