THE SHORT VERSION

Lewis Collins explores methods for finishing a coherent Space Marine army quickly, using Terminators to compare drybrushing, Contrast colours and battle damage. A simple Ultramarines sequence is followed by Black Templars, Imperial Fists, Howling Griffons and Tome Keepers alternatives. The discussion judges results at normal tabletop distance and uses contrasting bases and chipped edges to create atmosphere without labour-intensive armour highlights.

Painting Question: Realmscape Terrain
