THE SHORT VERSION

Dan Harden chooses neighbouring cool colours to suggest a T’au army fighting beneath a night world’s ultraviolet light. Purple armour, cool black fatigues and blue and green accents form an analogous palette rather than sharp warm contrasts. Snow bases reinforce the cold atmosphere, with the armour and cloth recipes showing how pale highlights keep the dark force readable.

Painting Question: Realmscape Terrain
