Blood! There’s So Much Blood!
August 2023·p. 91
THE SHORT VERSION
Bone-coloured chainblade panels make fresh and dried blood conspicuous. James stipples Skrag Brown beneath Blood for the Blood God, leaving some of the brown visible, then darkens the deepest gore with a little black. Pale edge marks and highlighted scratches restore the blade’s shape beneath the mess, making the blood effect deliberate rather than an indiscriminate covering.
