Combat Patrol Hobby Spotlight: Matt Hutson

THE SHORT VERSION

Matt Hutson adds a Combat Patrol to his existing Telennar collection, keeping an orange-and-black scheme and avoiding metallic paints. Grey shaded green and highlighted pale stands in for wraithbone, while bright warm highlights sharpen the orange armour. Paper templates help transfer large craftworld symbols onto jetbike carapaces consistently.

Painting Question: The Pallid Hand

Tom Moore’s Death Guard armour starts from white and gains a warm aged finish through Skeleton Horde, Ushabti Bone and pale drybrushed and edge highlights.
