The Warhammer Studio Combat Patrol League

THE SHORT VERSION

The studio’s first month starts with queues at the tables and a flurry of introductory games. John Bracken leads with his T’au and describes using frequent small battles to learn the rules and test deployments against varied opponents. Matt Hutson’s orange Telennar Aeldari provide the hobby spotlight, showing how painting an existing collection’s missing patrol and maintaining a public leaderboard support the league.

Painting Question: The Pallid Hand

Tom Moore’s Death Guard armour starts from white and gains a warm aged finish through Skeleton Horde, Ushabti Bone and pale drybrushed and edge highlights.
