THE SHORT VERSION

Six Termagants test quick alternatives through coloured washes, mottling and light drybrushing. Their themes include icy blues, bark and moss, bamboo green, purple tonal contrasts, warm magenta and a bright yellow creature with blue mottled skin. Lewis keeps base construction separate while experimenting, making it easy to compare whether a contrasting or complementary environment best serves each palette.
