PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 488

Khagra’s Ravagers

May 2023·p. 142

THE SHORT VERSION

John Bracken carries a dark blue-green recipe across cloaks and hair, using a deep wash followed by progressively brighter highlights. Armour and shields receive six layers of grey chips and battle-damage marks. Repeating the same blue family and carefully varied greys gives the heavily worn warband coherence without a uniform clean finish.
