THE SHORT VERSION

Dirk Wehner celebrates the Chapter’s contrast between artistic beauty and tragic background through a large collection rich in freehand details. Yellow chequers recur on his Imperial vehicles, and tiny skulls hide inside blood-drop motifs. Red plate, blue undersuits and warm yellow details are supported by a bronze-to-gold metallic progression, giving ornament a strong role in the scheme.

Painting Question: Some Classic Iyanden Colours
