Lyle Lowery’s Custodes patrol trades numbers for shields and elite combatants; Matt Hutson fits two Scarab Occult units and an Infernal Master into his Thousand Sons force. Dan Harden chooses the opposite approach, using cheap Skitarii to hold ground with specialist melee support. Their discussion recognises the objective-control weaknesses of tiny patrols, and the introductory game illustrates how an early advantage can become a draw.
