THE SHORT VERSION

Reactor fissures alternate dangerous plasma barriers between the battlefield’s two halves. Objectives on the active side score twice as much, and the player with more squads there at the finish earns another bonus. Optional flanking deployment helps patrols choose their approach, but the changing reward forces them to balance exposure to incinerating corridors against a stronger score.
