The Shadow of an Ancient Horror
July 2022·pp. 130–131
THE SHORT VERSION
Dark brown foundations and successive grey drybrushes build the ruined fortress’s stone, with varied washes suggesting age and damp. Warm corroded banding, natural dead branches and real preserved spiderwebs add contrast and atmosphere, while leftover components become useful matching scatter terrain.
