An aelf negotiates with Krult Lardihands to recover a mining town from Ossiarch occupation, using a dubious chef and the promise of an extraordinary meal. Ogor appetite repeatedly threatens the alliance, forcing the rescuers to exploit ambition, improvisation and a Stormcast’s dangerous demonstration of divine lightning.
