The Bloodgorged

June 2022·p. 97

THE SHORT VERSION

A fragmented Bloodthirster’s essence inhabits a group of converted Terminators, turning a striking collection into a specific supernatural story. Brass armour and carefully chosen Bloodbound parts connect the figures, with red and bone-coloured weapons extending the same theme to additional champions.

Worlds of Warhammer: Narrative Campaigns

Andy Clark contrasts open-ended sandboxes, prewritten progression systems and branching stories. Starting with a few evocative places and accommodating each faction gives players room to create events together, while Crusade or Path to Glory can provide a useful additional layer without dictating the campaign’s entire structure.

Index Hereticus: World Eaters

The War Hounds’ transformation under Angron leads from brutal Great Crusade warfare to Heresy, Skalathrax and the fragmentation of the Legion. Khârn and later warbands reveal how the Butcher’s Nails and Khorne’s demands hollow out brotherhood, leaving warriors driven toward slaughter even when their victims are allies.
