PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 449

The Ruins of Ancient Civilisations

December 2019·pp. 20–21

THE SHORT VERSION

The Warcry ruins guide uses a pale undercoat and translucent colours to establish four different stone finishes, then adds simple wood and metal recipes. Painting one horizontal wall face at a time controls pooling, while drybrushing, mud and algae turn the clean stages into aged scenery suitable for a shared battlefield.
