The history of Penitent 707 begins with a punishment for an offence against the regime of Zanzastus IV and ends with a dangerous journey to the Precipice. Taddeus acquires the surviving captive, but a failed pacifier leaves the augmented warrior capable of attacking explorers as readily as the enemies around them.
