THE SHORT VERSION
Bayton builds the retinue’s deep red from a darkened mixture, then works through increasingly vivid edge highlights. The black areas receive a cool blue sequence instead of neutral grey, keeping the armour distinct from the red while giving the separate character conversions a coherent shared finish.
