PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 443

Using Contrast Paints on a Magmadroth

June 2019·p. 51

THE SHORT VERSION

Layered yellow, orange and red Contrast paints establish glowing fins and a heated chest over a pale foundation. Brown beneath deep red scales reduces their saturation, while diluted black softens transitions around horns; protective varnish allows a final bone drybrush without disturbing the translucent layers.
