Ravenak’s Gnashing Jaws

THE SHORT VERSION

Progressively lighter smoke suggests jaws emerging from shadowstone rather than a uniformly black magical beast. Glazed teeth and blue washes concentrated around the gums create an eerie inner glow that separates the fangs from the trailing spectral body.

Paint Splatter: Painting the Yncarne

Separate assemblies and a white undercoat make the avatar’s pale hair and spectral storm easier to paint. Drybrushed ectoplasm is completed before the cleaner purple body and equipment, with controlled blue-green recesses and bright highlights defining the swirling spirit forms without highlighting every tiny curve individually.
