Chamonic Scenery: Painting the Herdstone
February 2019·pp. 92–93
THE SHORT VERSION
The Herdstone becomes a mass of different ores through separate bronze, brass, copper and gold recipes. A shared bronze drybrush brings the facets together, while bright corrosion and a green flame suggest an unnatural metallic landscape; the iron chains receive their own restrained silver and rust treatment to preserve the distinction between materials.
