Creatures of the Celestial Realm
February 2019·pp. 122–123
THE SHORT VERSION
A Gryph-charger is painted in cool green and blue tones chosen to complement its gold-armoured rider. The recipes separate skin, belly, radiant feathers, beak, claws and dark scales, then use the same pale final highlight across several materials to make the fantastic creature feel coherent; painting mount and rider separately keeps the contrasting undercoats manageable.
