THE SHORT VERSION

Alfrid’s broad, plain coat becomes a test of tiny freehand patterns and convincing luxurious cloth. A Lake-town pier is enclosed in layered clear resin with a suspended fish and metal-strip vegetation. The judges admire the miniature’s likeness, restrained textures and the contrast between purple clothing and greenish water.
