An Archway Long Forgotten
February 2018·p. 127
THE SHORT VERSION
Dave Cross uses vines, bracken and underlying green patches to suggest an ancient arch gradually absorbed by its environment. Several foliage greens are unified with one wash before the plants leave their sprues, giving variety without losing the impression that the growth belongs to one place.
