Sinister Omens

THE SHORT VERSION

Pietru van Harrow faces a dawn in which his familiar farm becomes hostile and uncanny: livestock falter, the crop changes and dead figures rise from the soil. His wife’s unsettling appearance leaves the situation uncertain, but the farmer answers the threat with a scythe and the stubborn instincts of a life spent working the land.
