Noble Defender of Lake-town
January 2018·p. 91
THE SHORT VERSION
David McGowan’s bronze-winning captain is treated as a reluctant hero wearing inherited and weathered equipment. Cracked leather, chipped metal and an icy base reinforce that character, while thin verdigris layers over the shield create the impression of aged copper rather than a freshly issued piece of armour.
