Painting the Masque
December 2017·pp. 143–144
THE SHORT VERSION
A pale undercoat supports the Silent Shroud’s bright orange, yellow and bone, with darker reds reserved for particular roles. Beardsmore lays out a fine grid before filling the diamonds and limits complex fades to selected models, keeping an elaborate-looking army repeatable without depending on colour mixes that would be difficult to reproduce consistently.
