PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 424

Frostlord on Stonehorn

November 2017·p. 93

THE SHORT VERSION

Winstone pushes an established monster towards a stronger winter identity using cold blues, whites and greys. Small warmer areas of flesh, bone and leather are distributed through the whole figure, while drybrushing and thin layers make the extensive fur practical to paint and show that a large model need not demand difficult edge work everywhere.
