THE SHORT VERSION

A lightly dusted metallic spray over black creates an uneven industrial foundation for washes, sponged chips and drybrushed rust. Verdigris and cracked enamel add contrasting surface damage, with the guide warning that moving a spray can too far away can produce unwanted graininess.
