THE SHORT VERSION

Paul Norton simplifies the ornate Primarch into familiar Space Marine painting stages, drybrushing gold before tidying the surrounding blue. Separate recipes cover armour, metal, scrolls, seals, face, eyes, hair and laurels, then the ruined base, Black Legion corpse and flames; thin washes and reversed light-to-dark fire highlights keep the head and sword as the focal points.
