Angelo Di Chello explains the blue-purple mood of his Slayer Sword-winning Gaunt Summoner and the many thin, filtering layers that make its colours shimmer. The judges emphasise the contrast between dark atmosphere and intense colour, particularly the unsettling eyes reading the book while the others look outward.
