Paint Splatter: Saint Celestine
January 2017·pp. 140–143
THE SHORT VERSION
Paul Norton paints Celestine in separate components, using carefully controlled gloss shades for polished armour and thin layers for soft cloth. Full sequences cover wings, roses, doves, pale skin, hair, parchment and the lightning-lit Ardent Blade; the freehand note explains tiny angled writing and recommends practising on a spare component first.
