Paint Splatter: Haruspex — Hive Fleet Leviathan
January 2014·pp. 110–111
THE SHORT VERSION
Dan Harden builds pale, pink-tinged skin over a white undercoat, leaving limbs separate to reach the Haruspex’s hidden surfaces. Layered purple striations distinguish the black carapace, red claws receive a final glaze and bright green vents provide a small contrasting colour. The vivid stomach repeats the flesh’s crimson shading to keep the grotesque mouth within one palette.
