Paint Splatter: Hive Crone — Hive Fleet Behemoth
January 2014·pp. 112–113
THE SHORT VERSION
The Hive Crone guide paints recessed flesh before the outer plates so later colours conceal stray brushwork. Red skin, blue-green chitin highlights, grey-edged black claws and warm wings form the Behemoth scheme. A separate sequence explains irregular carapace striations: progressively narrower strokes preserve each darker layer and finish with an edge highlight.
