Lake-town Guard
January 2014·pp. 36–37
THE SHORT VERSION
Swordsmen, spearmen and bowmen are introduced as three separate groups of Lake-town defenders. Close-ups examine their fish-tail helmets, padded jerkins, fur trim and distinct faces, while weapon descriptions explain the plain swords, practical spear crosspieces and bows carried with reserve blades. The design balances ceremonial dress with defence against raiders and cold weather.
