Six Heads Are Better than One
October 2013·p. 146
THE SHORT VERSION
Trish Carden turns the Hydra into a heavier, more serpentine beast with six distinct personalities. A raised pose keeps the necks coordinated without making the model too front-heavy. The Kharibdyss instead draws on ancient sharks, squid limbs and encrusted crabs. Shared underlying anatomy gives both monsters plausibility despite their very different faces.
