Gareth Etherington’s Ultramarines: Armour and Equipment
October 2013·p. 116
THE SHORT VERSION
Gareth’s evolving scheme uses thin coats to create smooth blue armour. Darker blue is then placed deliberately in the recesses. Green Fourth Company trim and separate metallic sequences distinguish the equipment. Restrained highlights on the upper edges keep the figures clean without outlining every surface equally.
